Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) for Road Transport Operators (RTOs)

Content rated: 4.00 out of 4 (1 vote)

Short description

To obtain a transport operator’s license in goods or passenger transport the employee, through the transport operator, must demonstrate professional competence.

For a training institute that adheres to the highest standards in providing such training in Professional Competence for Road Transport Operators, the IRU Academy can approve the training institute to become an IRU Academy Accredited Training Institute or ATI. Such Accreditation as an IRU Academy ATI does follow the implementation by the World Bank of a paper-based CPC Distance Learning Initiative. Once the project is fully implemented, the IRU Academy ensures the sustainability of the project by inviting the training institute to adhere to the IRU Academy’s high standards and to become an IRU Academy ATI.

For the student, successful completion of such training obtained through an IRU Academy Accredited Training Institute leads to an internationally recognized IRU Academy Diploma “Certificate of Professional Competence”.

The full list of training materials from the courses on Passenger and Goods transport is available from the GFP website and licensed for commercial use by cpntributing partners.
